📝
Step 1

Paste your notes

Drop in raw class notes or a screenshot. No special format needed, just paste what you wrote during the lesson.

Step 2

Everything gets sorted out

Vocabulary, corrections with plain-language explanations, useful expressions, all laid out clearly and ready to review and tweak before export.

🎓
Step 3

Recap, exercises & student history

Export a printable recap, an Anki-ready CSV, and shareable interactive exercises. Assign sessions to students to track recurring mistakes and generate targeted content over time.

Every lesson remembers the last one.

Notewell builds a profile of each student across sessions: recurring mistakes, what's mastered, what's still shaky. All of it turns into targeted revision. The longer you use it, the more it knows.

I built Notewell because I kept watching private tutors spend as much time on admin after a lesson (typing up notes, building flashcards, writing a quiz) as they'd spent teaching it. A handful of language tutors have been using early versions for months now, and it looks the way it does today because of their feedback, not mine. It's still just me building this, and the pricing reflects that: I'd rather have a small group of teachers who find it genuinely useful than a big list of inactive accounts. If something's missing or annoying once you try it, tell me. I read every message.

Questions, answered.
What languages does Notewell support?

Any language pair. Notewell works from whatever your notes are written in and adapts explanations to your student's native language, not a fixed list of supported courses.

Does it work with my note style?

Yes, paste plain text or a photo of handwritten notes, with or without shorthand. There's no format to learn; Notewell is built to handle messy, real mid-lesson notes as-is.

Can I export to Anki and Quizlet?

Yes, every session's vocabulary can be downloaded as a CSV/TSV file that imports directly into Anki or Quizlet.

What happens to my students' data?

Your notes and student profiles are stored securely and never shared or used to train anything. You can edit or delete a student's data at any time.
